And that brings us back to Friendship, One of the best thing in life.

We're joined in a friendship
That time cannot sever.
With bonds we have built,
We'll remain friends forever.

We're welded in spirit,
Attached by our hearts.
We're fused by the feeling,
That Friendship imparts.

We're tied by emotions,
Connected by dreams,
Reinforced by our hopes,
Unified by extremes.

No longer a function,
of time or of space,
Our love is a substance,
That life won't replace.

No matter how distant,
We'll always endeavor.
To sense the full meaning,
Of Friendship Forever.

GOD'S GIFT

One day when God felt generous,
He looked down at me and smiled,
"Since I feel so magnanimous,
I'd like to give you something, child."

He asked me what I wanted,
I said, "Oh, really nothing more,
You've done so much already."
He said, "That's what God is for."

"You have been pretty good," He said,
I know there's not much that you seek,
I will pick a little something,
Just to make your life complete."

With great anticipation,
I looked forward to my gift,
I wondered what God had in mind,
That would give me such a lift.

"This gift," God said, "You realize,
Bears some responsibility,
So, if you accept my present,
You must be willing to agree...

"To offer unconditionally,
A section or a part,
Of more than half of you,
The larger portion of your heart."

"Okay, God," I answered,
"Since in You, I always trust,
I'll meet your obligation,
In the manner that I must."

To myself, I thought, wow, what a gift,
For so much of me, God's asked,
Now what could be so valuable,
That my share was more than half?

With both hands I sought my gift,
I still did not have a clue,
Then God put your hand in mine,
And said His gift to me was YOU!

My Greatest Blessings

In my life, God has granted me a blessing few can claim,
The riches were my many friends who into my life they came.
Some were family members like my mother oh so dear.
But most were people that I met, many every year.
No matter where life sent me, what city I called home,
I made life long friends and never felt alone.
My friends are there for me to listen and to care.
At times life wouldn't have been worth living if my dear friends were not there.
I could name them all one by one, a volume it would fill,
But they know who they are and that I love them and I always will.
I hope some day when the Lord I go to see,
He will grant just one more blessing,
And let my friends dwell next to me.

MY SPECIAL GARDEN

I have a special garden;
Where only friendships grow.
It doesn't require water;
Just special seeds to sow.

The seeds contain some kindness;
Some understanding and some love.
But most of all they must have trust;
Cause that's what friends are made of.

These friendships are a special breed;
They differ from all others.
They are grown in my heart;
They are christian sisters and brothers.

But they are very special to me;
These friendships that I start;
Because they grow in a special garden;
The one within my heart!
